The boys meet Mickey at Disneyland Paris! What larks. I abandoned all thoughts of coding early Friday morning when a whole load of us lurched into France on the Eurostar to visit Disneyland Paris. We stayed until last night, and had a fabulous time. Er, yes, the kids really enjoyed it. It was all for the kids. Yes, that’s it.

My particular favourites were the Animagique and Moteurs… Action! shows, together with the Aerosmith-themed “Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster”. The latter surpassed “Space Mountain” in my humble opinion (you can see all of these in the Virtual Visits Disney provide to the park and the Disney Studios complex).

The park was all ready for Christmas, and it really was magical. As far as accommodation goes, I can recommend the Hotel Cheyenne — it “only” gets two keys in the Disney rating guide, yet was a terrific place: two minutes from the park via regular complementary bus, it had decent rooms, good bar and food and above all, it was cowboy-themed so ideal for the kids.

Anyway, I’m now back to the grind, and enjoying it enormously. Not. Photos on Flickr soon!

  1. One of these days we'll have to hit the Euro version of our favorite mecca. We've certainly been to the Florida site often enough!Duffbert#
