Mothers Day

I’m home alone with the kids today. I worked in my study all day, and then Mrs. P. nipped out for the evening, leaving us lads to it. I cooked boiled eggs for the older boys, some funny old toddler plop for the wee one, and then let them watch a film as a treat.

An ordinary family day, much like hundreds of others we have had / will have, God willing. Why am I writing about this? Well, sometimes it’s good for the soul to think about what you have. Read A Card from Elena over on the Dear Elena weblog to see what I mean.
