Apple quickies

MacOSXHints.com is a great site, and they even have an RSS feed, which is handy. Here are a couple of recently-posted tips which hit the mark:

Continuing the Apple theme, I note that Jake wants to produce invoices in PDF. Well, if he was still using Cromarty, he would know that you can print to PDF directly from anything in OS X. No add-ons required! TextEdit also does a reasonable job of opening and saving simple MS Word format documents too.

Uh, whilst I’m on an OS X kick, check out this last wee feature in Mail — instant messaging awareness? None of that Notes 6.5 nonsense, we got it already… ;-)
