The Moose

The Talking MooseOh happy day! I can’t believe I hadn’t noticed this before: the Moose is back! If you’ve used Macintosh computers for any length of time (the Moose dates back to 1986), you will remember Steve Halls’ amazing creation, The Talking Moose. It was brilliant. And also really annoying. But brilliant all the same. The Moose would just sit inside your Mac, casually observing what you were (or were not) doing. He would throw out pithy comments, weird jokes, or just be rude. He was great. Now, Martin Ulrich Kusterer has resurrected the Moose, and made him available for OS X as well as Classic.

My life is complete.
