Shuffle, one year on

Picture of iPod shuffle controlOne year ago, almost to the day, I got meself one of them thar iPod shuffle thingies. I thought I would post a brief item just to say that the wee beast is still here, going strong, and we are still in love.

The shuffle is small, robust (it scratches, but who cares??), light, and does what it says on tin: no more, no less.

Having said that, if you’re looking for a cheap small music player nowadays, you’d be nuts not to consider the new one gig nano for a hundred quid!

  1. My wife and I bought a 512 MB Shuffle for our 9 year old daughter at Christmas. She loves it, and it "just works". Just like our iMac. The shuffle plays for 6 or 7 hours and is rugged enough that scratches just aren't an issue. Our 3rd generation iPod is scratched to hell, but plays flawlessly (30 GB) wherever we go (Cuba, Mexico, Florida, the beach, weekend getaways, etc.). Excellent product design, engineering, and quality.norm van bergen#
