Well, OK, not me (although I am actually coming up to ten years: eek!), but this list is a cracker. I would emphasise points 2, 3 & 4 especially—how about you?

  1. I agree with you Ben - I would also add 10. Other people are quite often the hardest part of software development - in one shape or form. Whether thats just plain "difficult" people or when you have communication issues coming from yourself or from others (but that slightly overlaps with 2).

    Once you have 2,3,4 and 10 sorted - if your a software engineer by trade then the rest is plain easy!Steve Castledine#
